The Yamagata University
Attached Library Medical Library is the only medical science library
in Yamagata Prefecture. The library houses an abundance of materials
related to medical science, as well as nursing science. Please
feel free to use this facility in accordance with the following
rules and procedures.

For visitors other than members of the medical science department, please record your name and affiliation on the “Visitors List.”
All materials made be freely viewed in the library reading room.
Science material journals are stored together in collections, and may be found on the designated bookshelves.

Please complete an “Application for Copying of Literature” and make your request at the circulation desk. A fee of 30 〜 50 yen per page will be assessed, and it will take from 1 〜 2 weeks for the materials to arrive at this facility.
]V.Requests
for Additional Materials by Students
Students may make special requests for additional materials (limited to medical science, and excluding periodicals) by completing the appropriate request form and placing it in the designated box found on 2F near the statue of Hypocrates. If accepted, it may be several weeks before the materials arrive.
How to Use Other Facilities
The use of the facilities of other universities requires written permission from the head of the medical science department. Please complete and submit a “Request for Use of the Facilities of Other Universities.” Written permission will only be granted under appropriate circumstances. It may take several days for the written permission to be issued.
